Daddy's week off!!!!

Hi Everyone! We have been pretty busy this week. Daddy is on vacation and we have been enjoying spending time together. Of course this week was also the 4th of July! We celebrated America's Birthday over two days. First we went to the fireworks in Rutland on the 3rd. We were SO excited to go. I mean who doesn't like FIREWORKS!

We picked the BEST spot to watch the fireworks too. We layed down and it felt like they were right on top of us. They were AWESOME!!!!

On Wednesday morning (the 4th) Mommy got us up and made us get ready to go out right away. We were OFF to the Parade! Again, so exciting

All Mommy wanted was a pic of the boys in their matching shirts
and me in my matching dress. Well, we were not co-operating.

I know Aiden doesn't look to Happy, you should know he had a VERY bad ear infection and the LOUD noise of the firetrucks were hurting him. Poor Buddy!

Once the Parade was done we went down the road to Mommys' cousin Linda's house. Here is where Mommy dropped the ball camera wise. Our Cousin Matt who is a soldier and JUST coming home from Australia was there with his wife Wendy and two kids Hunter and Haley. Mommy totally forgot to get out the camera and take pics...but we went over and played for a while and just visited before heading home and getting ready to go to MY friend Madisyn's house for a BBQ. Her Mommy and Papa invited us all over. This was turning out the be my BEST day ever! When we got to Madi's house there was LOTS to do, but our favorite part was the swimming and the fireworks. Mommy's camera was acting all crazy so she didn't really get many pics of us at the BBQ

On Thursday Mommy and Daddy took us to do something us kids had NEVER done before, but were SO excited to do. We went camping!!!! In a tent!!!!

It was ALOT of work to get ready, we had to pack our food and clothes and get blankets and sleeping bag. The work didn't stop there when we got to the camp ground. Lamb City if you are wondering, we had to "Make Camp" this meant we had to pitch our tent, get our chairs out, set up our "grill" and build a fire! Mommy and Daddy said if we are big enough to camp we are big enough to help so they put us to work!

Even Shane had to help carry firewood!

Once the work was done, the FUN began!

In the Morning Mommy made breakfast over the fire. Scrambled eggs with sausage. Turkey Bacon and muffins Mommy had made the day before at home!

OUCH the heat and smoke was hurting mommy's face and hands

After a few minuets Daddy got the smart idea to lay a piece of wood across the fire so mommy didn't have to hold the pan

Before we knew it, it was time to pack up and get ready to go home. Time goes SO fast when you are camping. We are TOTALLY gonna do it again.
Well, that is what we have been up to...

First few weeks of summer vacation

Here is our Kiddie pool. It's so big Mommy and Daddy can fit in it too!

Hi everyone it's Kylie! I hope everyone out there is enjoying the summer so far. I know we are. I have to admit, being out of school is alot more fun than I thought. Mommy and Daddy have been letting us stay up later and we have spent our first few weeks swimming in the kiddie pool.

Also this summer we have been spending ALOT of time at Comet. Now I know that is nothing different from summers past, we always go to comet. But usually we go when Daddy is home. Mommy was always to scared to go by herself, but this year she decided to give it a go. Since it went so well the first time we have been going almost every day. We have extra rules when we are with Mommy. We can only go up to our chest's and have to stay in certain boundaries. This is so Mommy can stand where she can see everyone.
